The Mental Health Benefits of Exercise

The mental health benefits of exercise is something that is far understated. We all know about the physical benefits of exercise. If you experience depression, anxiety or stress. Exercise is proven to improve your mental status.

“People who exercise regularly tend to do so because it gives them an enormous sense of well-being. They feel more energetic throughout the day, sleep better at night, have sharper memories, and feel more relaxed and positive about themselves and their lives.”

I can speak on this personally because I have been working out regularly for almost a decade. Back when I started training when I was a teenager, I had anxiety about weight training and had low confidence. I was scared to go train with other people around. When you start to see results and start to gain confidence in yourself you start to look forward to training. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. I’ve never been in a better place mentally and physically.
